you're as lovely as a car crash.
i wish i was that lovely.
i wish i was that lovely.
State your name for the record:
Is it that hard to guess her age? She's eighteen years young, and, when she bothers to show up at any sort of a school, she'd be labeled a Senior.
I'd rather be in jail: this is Alix's second (and hopefully last) year at C.A.R. In truth, she hates being pushed to be social. If she wanted to talk to those she calls preppy very *friendly* persons, jocks, or the sad, little emo kids, she'd go over and talk to them. In truth, she's much rather be with the people she's most comfortable with; the two labels she's been given.
Go ahead, throw your labels at me:Alix has earned two labels; goth and rebel.
How hard is it to tell? Despite the fact that the name 'Alix' can be used for either gender, her middle name should be a give-away; Alix is a not-so-girly girl.
Personalities are deceiving:
Now, how do you explain Alix? She isn't the kind of person where a short explination will do any good. She changes too often for a brief explination. So, shall we go a bit in-depth into her perstonality?
It's quite easy to catch Alix in a bad mood. But, then again, it is possible to catch her when she's feeling just fine, if not happy, as long as it isn't in the morning. First impressions can really suck some times. The impression Alix gives is usually not the best, and it's never a good interpretation of how she really acts. Due to that reason, she has a somewhat hard time making friends. But, if people give her a second chance, it's likely that they'll like her more. But, then again, third time's the charm, right?
After you've been around Alix for a little while, it's quite easy to see how she got labled a rebel. Alix simply hates authority, and goes out of her way to break rules. What can I say; it's so much fun to get into trouble. In her past, she has done illegal things, though nothing more than the occasional theft (what, you think she has enough money to get whatever she wants?) and taking things that aren't considered legal. But, currently, she doesn't take any drugs, or anything like that. It's too hard to sneak things into this camp, anyway. She doesn't feel like wasting her energy trying to sneak things in.
In truth, Alix's a lot nicer than she seems to be. She can be willing to please, as long as she enjoys the person's company. but, other than that, Alix can be a bit of a pregnant dog. No, she doesn't always hate people because of their labels (some of her best friends have been slightly preppy, though not complete plastics), but she does dislike some people before she even talks to them. She usually bases whether she'll be nice to someone or not by the way they act. If someone asks her too many questions, she's not going to be happy. Alix hates when she's questioned too much, unless she asked for the questions in some sort of a way. Oh, and Alix could be a bit of a hypocrite, too. And she has absolutely no problem admitting that.
Pasts are private:
Alix was born into a modest-living family in a small suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Her life was actually pretty normal. No abusive parents...her parents weren't even drunks. They were just normal. She'd probably even be considered a prep, if it wasn't for an out-of-state move when she was in 5th grade. Before 5th grade, she was in no way shy, but the move changed that. Never before had she moved, and she had known the friends she had had for her whole life. So, it was obvious that meeting new people was going to scare her.
Tragedy struck when Alix had trouble making new friends. Yes, she was welcomed as the new kid (ever noticed how little kids always want to be the new kid's friend?), but once she made 'friends', she had trouble keeping them. She essentially refused to talk. Eventually, the other kids figured that she was just following them around, and they started ignoring her completely. This wasn't exactly the best thing. And it went on like that for two years.
Things improved slightly when Alix was in 7th grade. She had never really been exposed to the alternative side of people, but when she officially was in middle school, she began noticing different kinds of people. And, when she befriended some sort of a goth kid, that fashion stuck with her. But she was a bit more creative than most people would've thought her to be. She began making her own clothes, drifting from the typical 'Hot Topic' kids that swarm middle schools. Not saying that she completely avoided that store; band tees always come in handy. but she had a growing interest in thrift stores and second had stores.
By the time Alix entered highschool, she was barely recognizable. Not only had she completely changed her style, she also looked different. She had had her friends pierce her before, her newly acquired lip and eyebrow piercing were proof. Later that year, she would pierce her lip and her nose by herself. The piercings were quite successful and, even when her parents got pissed at her for doing it, they had no leverage over her. the simple 'You're grounded' never did anything to her. All she had to do was sneak out of her window (even though, in her Sophmore year, her parents learned the benefits of padlocking her window shut). She was truly uncontrolable. But that was put to an end in her Junior year.
Alix had been suspended from school before her Junior year (mainly from getting into fights). Unlike some of her peers, Alix found it best not to come to school drunk or high...silly stoners. But, in her Junior year, Alix found someone that could match up to her recklessness, and, unlike some would've thought, they became instant rivals. Things would've been a crapload of fun if they were friends from the start, but that didn't work out. Over their Junior year, the two got into four fights (even though one of them was never reported). During their first fight, Alix got one of her lip rings pulled out (she has a scar to prove it) and the other girl was sent to the Emergency room with a broken nose. That was her first five-day suspension of the year. Next time, no real injuries were sustaned, even though both of them got a black eye, a handful of bruises, and a lovely 10-day vacation. Who ever said girls can't hit? The third time, nothing really bad happened (their friends pulled them away when they saw the school's security guard coming towards them.) And, the fourth time, Alix knocked out one of the other girl's teeth, and she recieved a black eye. Both were expelled because it was their third reported offence. Alix was sent to a charter school for the rest of the year, but failed all of her classes. She had to retake her junior year. The other girl, well, she was luckier.
Over the summer, before she had to retake her Junior year (she wasn't able to handle retaking 6 classes during summer school), Alix's parents sent her to Camp Aspen Ridge for a change in her behavior. The camp, well, it actually did a little good. She was labled a Rebel from the start, though obtained the Goth label when she befriended a handful of goth kids. After completing her Junior year, Alix is now back again for her second year at the camp. And, in truth, she was actually a little happy to come back.
Guess how she looks:
Now, what's quite pale, stands at roughly five and a half feet and has multi-colored hair? If you guessed Alix, then you're quite right. And, trust me, after you've been introduced to her once, it'll be hard to forget the way she looks. No, not because she's what people would call extremely attractive; she isn't. The reason she's easy to remember is because she has a unique look, in more ways than one.
Saying that Alix dresses different would be an understatement in many cases. Half the things the girl wears are made to make her stand out more than the average person. Ever heard of a little thing called shock value? But, in her mind, shock value isn't achieved by revealing too much skin. And I could usually assure you that she isn't one to wear extremely revealing clothing. In truth, she tends to cover up quite well. At least when off the job. Roughly half the things Alix wears are crafted by her, well, at least modified by her. Thrift shops are her friends, as well as cheap department stores and Walmarts. And, in some cases, mainstream stores work for her, too. Where she shops usually depends on how much money she has to spend and what kind of outfit she feels like making. And, then, of course, there's the typical lazy day when she simply choses to wear a simply outfit, such as an oversized teeshirt and plain, old jeans. But even those are rare.
Just because Alix's different doesn't mean she should be labeled a certain way. Despite the fact that she dresses odly and tends to have a preference of colors doesn't mean she's part of a label. In truth, Alix loves wearing bright colors just as much as darker shades of reds, blues, and purples. It isn't rare to see her in some sort of a pink, either. You can see that by simply looking at the pastel shades of her hair. If one was to label her, cyber or glam would be extremelly fitting. But, in truth, the style she dresses in really depends on her mood.
Who cares about measurements, anyway? A person shouldn't be judged on the way the look, at least not in Alix's mind. But, nonetheless, here are her measurements. Alix stands at a bit over 5'5, a height that can usually be considered to 5'6 rather than 5'5. Her weight is kept anywhere between 100 to 105 pounds, simply depending on how much is going on in her life. A healthy weight for her height is around 105, though when she's dealing with things she would prefer not to be dealing with, she drops a few too many pounds. At the moment, due to her current state, she weight roughly 130 lbs, but that'll be explained in the 'secrets category.
Alix tends to be generally, well, colorful. Her hair, originally blonde, has been dyed multiple times, though she has currently settled on black with a few strips of navy, purple, and a touch of red. Lovely, isn't it? To add to the colors, her eyes are a light shade of blue, which she thinks looks quite nice with her hair. Her eyes are usually outlined with a thin coating of liquid eyeliner under her eye, but a thicker coating over it. Occasionally, she'll make her makeup a bit more original than this, but that's how she usually wears it. Despite the lack of variation in her eyemakeup, her lipstick collection is quite vast. She keeps darker colors, such as purples, blues, and black, though adores 'frosted' colors, such as silvers or light blues and purples. But, then again, she does have a few plain, old glosses for normal days. But, when talking about her lip color, normal is quite rare.
And now for the piercings and tattoos. Alix is a huge fan of bodyart. Currently, she has ten piercings, not including the surface piercing on the back of her neck and her belly button. So, essentially, she has twelve piercings. Her septum and nostril are both pierced once, in addition to her eyebrow and two in her tongue. Her lip's pierced three times; in the middle and on both sides. She has a madison piercing, which is surface piercing in the middle of her collar bones. Her ear piercings are not included. Alix has an industrial piercing in both ears, as well as five regular piercings. No, she hasn't gotten her ears gaged yet, though would love to sometime in the near future. At least when she earns a bit of money to pay for it. As for tattoos, she has two; spiderwebs on her forearm and a symbol taken from the band, Jack off Jill, on her lower stomach. And, for now, that's what's going to have to describe Alix.
Just because I've known them my whole life, doesn't mean I like them: Alix has lived with her real parents for her whole life. Truly, she hates that fact. She doesn't get along with either parent, due to the fact that she believes that neither of them appreciates her. And, in many cases, that's true.
Relatives are a drag:Alix has a younger, extremelly spoiled twin brother and sister named Alan and Alyssa. They are twelve years old. She also has a 16 year old step-sister, named Maegan, who her family adopted when Mae was 13. She tends to like Mae more than anyone in her family.
I do more than I'm willing to share: Alix is a bass player. Well, yeah, she does play guitar, too, but her main musical interest is bass. She's been playing bass essentially her whole life, which, to her, is all of seven years. She started when she was eleven, and still plays. Currently, her bass of choice, and the bass she brought to the camp, is a B.C. Rich Nt Beast bass. She adores it, and rarely will let anyone other than herself touch it, let alone play it. In her mind, it's the most important thing belonging to her at the time. Another thing Alix adores doing is designing clothing. If she doesn't end up being a bassist when she's ready for a career, Alix plans on being is an alternative fashion designer or model. See; despite her current lack of motivation, she has her future careers planned out to some point.
The keyword is 'secret'; why should I tell you?
And Alix's big secret? Well, if it's a secret, she wouldn't share it. one thing about Alix is that she loves to keep those that she doesn't know well in the dark about her personal life. But her current, biggest secret will be quite hard to hide. And her secret it...Alix's pregnant. Such a surprise, huh? Well, what do you expect from her? She's four months pregnant, and so far it's a bit easy to hide her growing stomach inside of a hoodie. But have you ever tried wearing a sweatshirt in the summer? Not the funnest thing in the world. No one knows about this except for her, even though her parents might have a slight idea. But, if they do, they haven't said anything. And, the good thing about being at camp is the fact that they won't know about it for a long time. She won't this be another thing her parents take away from her. She's determined to have the kid, even if it does ruin the rest of her life. Alix wants to prove that she can do it. And she plans on doing just that.
